BRS Faces Internal Criticism Over Party Structure and Post Allocations

**Telangana, August 31, 2024** – The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is under scrutiny as internal discussions intensify about the party’s organizational structure and leadership appointments. Party members have expressed frustration over the delay in restructuring and the allocation of posts, which they feel are overdue.Key concerns include the lack of changes to the party structure from the village level to the state level, and the absence of new committees even a year after the general elections. Critics are calling for a re-evaluation of the party’s framework, citing the need to study successful models from other regional parties, such as the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), to inspire necessary reforms within BRS.The youth and student wings of the party, along with other sections, remain uncertain about their future roles and positions within the party. The delay in appointing new leaders to vital positions, such as the Politburo and Authority Representatives, has led to dissatisfaction among the cadre, who are awaiting the promised organizational purge. The BRS leadership faces mounting pressure to address these issues promptly to maintain morale and ensure effective party functioning as it prepares for future challenges.
