Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka Announces Mandatory Sports Periods in Schools

Hyderabad: In a significant move to promote sports and physical fitness among students, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has announced that sports periods will become mandatory in both public and private educational institutions across Telangana. The announcement was made on National Sports Day during the inauguration of sports competitions for employees at LB Stadium.Speaking at the event, Bhatti Vikramarka emphasized the state’s commitment to fostering athletic talent and encouraging physical activity. “We are setting up a sports university to represent Telangana in international sports competitions and aim to win gold medals,” he said.The Deputy CM’s initiative underscores the government’s focus on integrating sports into the educational curriculum to nurture future sports champions and enhance the overall well-being of students.
