*Anantapur* – In a significant relief for workers under the Sathya Sai Drinking Water Supply Scheme, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan intervened to ensure the release of long-pending salaries. A total of 536 workers in the joint Anantapur district, who had been on strike for two days demanding payment of their dues, have finally received their salaries after a seven-month delay.Upon learning of the workers’ plight, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan took swift action, directing the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department to release ₹30 crores to clear the outstanding wages. His decisive intervention resolved the standoff and ended the workers’ protest.The workers, who had been struggling without pay for months, expressed their gratitude to the Deputy CM for his timely involvement, which brought much-needed relief to their families.
