GITAM University Donates ₹1 Crore to Telangana CM’s Relief Fund for Flood Victims

*Hyderabad, September 22, 2024* – GITAM University has made a generous contribution of ₹1 crore to the Telangana Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to support ongoing relief efforts for flood victims in the state. GITAM University President and Member of Parliament (MP) Sribharat met with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at his Jubilee Hills residence and handed over the donation check.Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed his gratitude for the university’s support, commending their generosity during such a critical time. He emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government and various institutions to ensure effective flood relief measures and assist affected communities.The donation from GITAM University is part of the larger efforts to provide relief and rehabilitation to those impacted by the recent heavy rains and flooding across Telangana.
