The DGP highlighted that job vacancies within the police department will be filled soon. He also emphasized the importance of tackling ganja trafficking, noting that while the drug is arriving from the Andhra-Odisha border, there are no local marijuana cultivation activities. The department is actively pursuing gangs involved in this trade.Additionally, DGP Jitender dismissed concerns about Maoist influence in Telangana, stating that the Maoists have largely left the area and that any reported presence is mere propaganda. He assured that the police will investigate any complaints about fake Naxalites and will monitor Maoist sympathizers closely.
