Sofian, along with a group of nine Indian youths, was lured into Russia by a fraudulent Mumbai-based agent under the pretense of securing jobs. Trapped in an unexpected conflict, Sofian and the others found themselves detained by Russian forces. After enduring months of uncertainty and hardship, Sofian finally reached Shamshabad Airport, Hyderabad, where he was greeted with relief by his family and friends.However, the joy of Sofian’s return was overshadowed by tragedy. Afridi, one of the nine youths from Hyderabad, tragically lost his life during captivity. The others managed to survive and were brought back to India with the help of Indian authorities.The youths had been deceived by the agent, who promised lucrative employment opportunities in Russia, only for them to find themselves in dangerous circumstances upon arrival.
