**Hyderabad, September 4, 2024** — Minister of Transport and BC Welfare, Ponnam Prabhakar, has called for heightened caution among citizens during the ongoing heavy rains and potential disaster situations. Speaking on behalf of the Telangana government, the minister emphasized the importance of taking necessary precautions to minimize risks associated with natural calamities.In a public appeal, Minister Prabhakar urged people to follow the government’s guidelines and take preventive measures during heavy rains. “We all have to take precautions when dealing with nature. No one has the power to prevent natural calamities, but we can work together to mitigate their impact,” he stated.He assured that under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the government, along with Cabinet Ministers, MLAs, and MPs, is fully engaged in rehabilitation efforts across the state. “Those who do politics can continue with it, but as a responsible government, we are focused on standing by the people and ensuring their safety,” Prabhakar added.The minister highlighted the government’s commitment to addressing any losses incurred due to the rains and mentioned ongoing efforts to secure cooperation from the central government. He also called on the public to support the government’s initiatives and participate in relief programs.Prabhakar further noted that orders have been issued to all state authorities to be prepared for disaster management and to remain accessible to the public. “All officials should be local and accessible to the public.
