World Bank Approves Rs. 15,000 Crore Loan for Amaravati Construction

The World Bank has given the green light for a substantial loan of Rs. 15,000 crores to the Andhra Pradesh state government for the development of Amaravati, as outlined in the central budget. This financial support, set to be sanctioned alongside the Asian Development Bank, marks a significant step in the city’s planned construction. Representatives from both banks are scheduled to visit Amaravati from tomorrow until the 27th of this month to engage with government officials and address various project-related matters. The loan approval is anticipated to be finalized promptly.
