Hyderabad/New Delhi: Infosys Public Services CEO Laksh Gopishetti has reportedly gone missing following devastating flash floods in Nepal.

According to Infosys, Gopishetti travelled to Nepal on a personal trip. The company said it has been unable to contact him following the disaster.

Infosys said locating Gopishetti and ensuring his safety is its immediate priority. The company is working with government agencies and local authorities to gather information about his whereabouts.

Nepal Floods Leave Hundreds of Indians Unaccounted For

The disappearance comes as Nepal and the Tibet region continue to deal with a major flash-flood disaster.

India’s Ministry of External Affairs said around 320 Indian nationals remained missing or uncontactable after the floods. Around 400 Indian nationals on the Chinese side of the border were reported safe and in contact with their families.

The numbers are being updated as authorities receive fresh information. Rescue operations remain underway across affected areas.

The disaster has also affected foreign tourists, pilgrims, workers and local residents. More than 3,700 people had been rescued in Nepal by August 29, according to reports.
