**Hyderabad** – The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Monitoring and Protection Agency (HYDRAA) conducted a demolition operation in Manemma Basti, Ramnagar on Friday, targeting illegal constructions on a nala and public road. The drive resulted in the removal of a toddy compound and several commercial shops.HYDRAA Commissioner AV Ranganath explained that the action followed numerous complaints from local residents about the encroachments causing significant inconvenience. “After verifying the complaints, we proceeded with the demolition to address the issue,” Ranganath stated.The operation received strong support from the local community, who had long advocated for the removal of these unauthorized structures. Officials confirmed that no residential properties were affected by the demolition, which focused solely on commercial establishments.The cleared area is anticipated to improve access and restore proper storm water flow, benefiting the local infrastructure and community.
