T-Fiber to Revolutionize Internet Access in Telangana

In a pioneering initiative, Telangana Fiber Grid Corporation Limited (T-Fiber) is set to launch a groundbreaking program on September 5, 2024, aiming to provide unlimited free internet services to 4,000 families across three villages in Telangana.This ambitious pilot project will offer residents in Manthani (Peddapalli district), Andolu (Sangareddy district), and Maddur (Narayanapet district) access to 300 television channels, including Telugu programming, and high-speed internet with a speed of 20 Mbps. The initiative marks a significant step in enhancing digital connectivity in rural areas.The program will serve as a pilot for T-Fiber’s broader plan to extend affordable high-speed internet services to rural areas across the state. Following the pilot’s evaluation, T-Fiber aims to introduce high-speed internet at a cost of ₹300 per household.The central government is closely monitoring the project’s outcomes, underscoring its potential to transform digital access in Telangana.
