Telangana CM Revanth Anumula Reddy Urges Accelerated Land Acquisition for Regional Ring Road

*Hyderabad* – Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Anumula Reddy has called for expedited land acquisition for the southern section of the Regional Ring Road (RRR), a key project aimed at comprehensive state development. The Chief Minister reviewed the land acquisition and project progress in a high-level meeting at the State Secretariat.Reddy emphasized the need for full transparency in the acquisition process and instructed that daily updates be provided to the Chief Secretary on the progress. He highlighted the importance of ensuring that the road plans facilitate effective connectivity between the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and the RRR, and that connections to main roads are well-identified for smooth travel.The Chief Minister stressed that the road alignment must cater to future needs and support the establishment of various industries and organizations. While land acquisition for the Sangareddy-Bhuvanagiri-Chautuppal route is nearing completion, further suggestions were made for the southern Chautuppal-Amangal-Shad Nagar-Sangareddy route, covering 189.20 km.Officials have been directed to conduct field visits, compile a comprehensive report, and address any technical issues with the central government promptly. The meeting was attended by Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, Chief Minister’s Advisor Vem Narender Reddy, Nalgonda MP Kunduru Raghuveer Reddy, Government Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, and other senior officials.
