SPSR Nellore SP Dr. Ajitha Vezendla Assures Justice Through Lawful Probe into Public Complaints
Nellore, August 31, 2026: SPSR Nellore District Superintendent of Police Dr. Ajitha Vezendla, IPS, assured complainants that every petition received through the Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS) would be examined according to law.
A PGRS programme was held at the District Police Office in Nellore under the supervision of the District SP on Monday.
A total of 154 complaints were received from members of the public during the programme.
The SP directed police officials to examine every complaint carefully and impartially. She also instructed them to take prompt action wherever required.
Dr. Ajitha Vezendla stressed that public grievances should not be handled with negligence. Officials were asked to interact with complainants respectfully and remain accountable throughout the process.
She further instructed officers to study each petition in detail. Necessary steps should be taken to resolve the issues at the earliest.
Key Complaints Received During PGRS
Alleged ₹51.85 Lakh Business Fraud
A complainant from Hyderabad approached the PGRS regarding an alleged financial fraud under the Chillakూరు Police Station limits.
The complaint concerns Macro Minerals Private Limited and its owner. It was alleged that ₹51.85 lakh was taken from Hyderabad-based Total Build Crete Solutions, represented by Devireddy Prashanth Reddy.
The money was reportedly collected with an assurance that chemicals and other materials would be supplied to the company. The complainant alleged that the promised supplies were not made.
The petitioner requested a detailed investigation and appropriate legal relief.
₹15 Lakh Software Job Fraud Allegation
Another complaint was received from the Kovur Police Station limits.
According to the complaint, a Hyderabad-based person named Yaduveer allegedly collected ₹15 lakh after promising to arrange a software job.
The complainant alleged that the promised employment was not provided. A request was made for an investigation and justice in the matter.
Elderly Parents Seek Help Over Property Dispute
A complaint was also received from the Buchireddypalem Police Station limits.
An elderly couple alleged that their son and daughter-in-law were causing them difficulties over property-related issues.
The petitioners requested police intervention and a lawful inquiry into the matter.
Harassment and Threat Allegation
A woman from the Nellore Rural Police Station limits complained that a person named Karthik Teja was allegedly following and harassing her.
She further alleged that she had been threatened. The complainant requested an investigation and appropriate legal action.
Dowry Harassment Complaint
A complaint was received from the Muthukur Police Station limits concerning an alleged dowry harassment case.
The complainant alleged that her husband and in-laws were harassing her for additional dowry. She also alleged that her gold ornaments were taken and that she was forced to leave the house.
She requested a comprehensive investigation and appropriate justice in the matter.
SP Assures Action on Every Petition
The District SP assured the public that every complaint received through the PGRS would be investigated in accordance with the law.
She directed the concerned officers to work responsibly and coordinate with each other to resolve public grievances quickly.
The SP also emphasized the importance of accountability while dealing with complaints submitted by citizens.
Police Officials Attend PGRS Programme
Several senior police officials participated in the programme.
They included Kavali DSP V.V. Ramana Kumar, WPS CIs Subbarao and Srinivasa Reddy, DCRB CI Papar Rao, SB CI Dasharadha Rama Rao, and SB-2 CI Venkata Rao.
PGRS staff and other police personnel were also present.
