*Hyderabad, August 17* — Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will chair a crucial Congress Legislative Party (CLP) meeting scheduled for Sunday. The primary focus of the meeting will be to strategize for the upcoming Rajya Sabha by-election, prompted by the resignation of senior leader K. Kesha Rao.The Congress high command has confirmed Abhishek Singhvi, the party’s national spokesperson, as their candidate for the by-election. The CLP meeting aims to ensure Singhvi’s victory in the Rajya Sabha seat, which will be contested on September 3.In addition to the by-election strategy, the meeting will address several other key issues, including preparations for the forthcoming local body elections, the current political landscape in Telangana, and the review of welfare schemes implemented across the state.Singhvi recently met with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at the CM’s official residence in Delhi.
