**August 24, 2024**NVS Reddy, Managing Director of the Metro Rail project, announced that the land acquisition process for the new metro rail line from MGBS to Chandrayanagutta has been expedited. This critical development aims to facilitate the construction of the 7.5 km route.According to Reddy, approximately 1,200 properties will be affected by the project due to road widening and station construction. The MD assured that the land acquisition process is on track to be completed within the next eight months, a key milestone for the timely execution of the metro rail expansion.
