Hyderabad, August 25, 2024: AIMIM chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi has raised questions about the ongoing demolitions in Hyderabad, specifically targeting buildings constructed on full tank level (FTL) areas. Speaking to reporters on Sunday, Owaisi challenged the state government to clarify if they would also demolish government offices built on FTL areas.Owaisi pointed to the example of government offices constructed near Hussain Sagar, a prominent lake in the city. “Will the government that is demolishing buildings in the FTL also demolish those built at Hussain Sagar? Will they demolish Necklace Road?” he asked, seeking clarity on the government’s stance.The AIMIM chief’s comments come amidst the ongoing demolition drive in Hyderabad, which has sparked controversy and debate.
