**New Delhi, September 14, 2024** – The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the admit cards for the Civil Services Mains Examination 2024. Candidates who are set to appear for the exam can now download their admit cards from the official UPSC websites – [upsc.gov.in](https://www.upsc.gov.in) or [upsconline.nic.in](https://upsconline.nic.in). The admit cards will be available for download until **September 29, 2024**.The UPSC Civil Services Mains exams will take place on **September 20, 21, 22, 28, and 29, 2024**. These exams will be held in two shifts: the first shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the second shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.UPSC had released the notification for **1,056 posts** in February 2024, with the application process running from **February 14 to March 5, 2024**. The Civil Services Preliminary Examination was conducted on **June 16, 2024**, and the results were declared on **July 1, 2024**. Only those candidates who cleared the preliminary exam are eligible to take the Mains.The Civil Services Mains Examination includes a **written test and an interview/personality test**. The written test consists of **nine essay papers**, two of which are qualifying exams to select candidates for various services and posts.### Steps to Download UPSC Mains Admit Card 2024:1.
