Hyderabad, [Date] – In a major crackdown, the Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, along with Bandlaguda Police, raided an illegal Mujra party late on the night of September 28-29, 2024, in Ghouse Nagar, Bandlaguda, Hyderabad. Acting on credible information, the police apprehended 12 individuals, including 4 transgender persons, for their involvement in organizing and participating in the obscene party.The raid took place at a plot enclosed by a compound wall in Lake View Hills, Ghouse Nagar, where the group was found engaging in indecent activities, dancing obscenely to loud music. Among those arrested were 8 men and 4 transgender dancers, all caught in the act. Abdul Amer (28), Mujra Party Dancer, VattepallyThe organizer of the party, identified as Hameed, a resident of Bandlaguda, is currently absconding.**Facts of the Case:**During the raid, police discovered that the group had been creating a public nuisance by playing loud music and participating in lewd dances. The illegal gathering took place in violation of public decency laws. The arrested individuals and the seized equipment were handed over to the Bandlaguda Police Station for further action. A case has been registered under Cr. No. 337/2024 U/s 223, 292 R/w 3 (5) BNS and Sec 21/76 of the CP Act. Investigations are ongoing.The operation was carried out under the supervision of Sri S. Raghavendra, Inspector of the Task Force, along with SIs Sri N. Naveen, K. Narsimulu, and the staff of both the Task Force and Bandlaguda Police Station.
