Andhra Pradesh Medical Education Fees Hiked: MBBS, BDS and PG Course Fees Revised

Amaravati, August 30, 2026: Medical education is set to become more expensive in Andhra Pradesh. The state government has revised the fee structure for medical and dental courses for the new academic session.

The revised structure affects MBBS, BDS and postgraduate medical courses in private unaided institutions. Reports indicate that the undergraduate fees have been increased by around 10%, while PG course fees have seen a higher revision.

New MBBS Fee Structure in Andhra Pradesh

Under the revised fee structure, the annual MBBS fee for the Convenor Quota has been fixed at ₹18,150.

The fee for the Management Quota has been increased to ₹14.52 lakh per year. For NRI Quota seats, the annual fee has been fixed at ₹43.56 lakh.

The increase is expected to have a direct impact on students preparing for MBBS admissions through NEET counselling.

BDS Fees Also Increased

The government has also revised the fee structure for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) courses.

The BDS Convenor Quota fee has been fixed at ₹15,730. The annual fee for Management Quota seats will be ₹4.84 lakh.

For students seeking admission under the NRI Quota, the revised annual fee is ₹14.52 lakh.

PG Medical Fees Revised

Postgraduate medical and dental courses have also been included in the fee revision.

The PG fee has been increased by 15%, according to reports on the revised structure. The move follows periodic fee revisions for private unaided professional medical and dental colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
