Auto-Rickshaw Set Ablaze in Chandrayangutta, Police Probe Underway

Hyderabad: An auto-rickshaw was set ablaze in Gazi-e-Millat Colony, Chandrayangutta, in the early hours of the day.

The incident took place around 3 AM, according to the vehicle owner.

The auto belonged to 24-year-old Syed Khaja. It was parked near his house when the incident occurred.

Khaja said he suddenly noticed the vehicle engulfed in flames. He then rushed outside after seeing the fire.

By the time he reached the auto, it was completely on fire.

The vehicle, bearing registration number TG12 T 8839, was around one year old.

Khaja suspects that unidentified persons deliberately set the auto on fire. The circumstances behind the incident remain unclear.

Police were informed about the incident soon after it came to light.

The Chandrayangutta Police have started an investigation into the case. Officials are examining CCTV footage from the surrounding area.

Police are also looking at other available evidence. The investigation is aimed at identifying the persons suspected of being involved.
