Centre Approves Establishment of Industrial Parks in Telugu States

New Delhi, August 28: The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, met in New Delhi on Wednesday and approved a package of Rs. 25,000 crore for the establishment of 12 industrial parks in several states, including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Bihar, Punjab, UP, and Kerala.The central government hopes that this move will significantly boost industrial growth and economic development in these states. Officials believe that these new projects have the potential to attract investments of Rs. 1.5 trillion, promote domestic manufacturing, and create employment opportunities.The industrial parks, which will include medium-sized industrial cities with residential and commercial areas, are expected to attract foreign investment and drive economic growth.This decision comes after the recent assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh, where the BJP, TDP, and Janasena parties formed an alliance. The central government has announced several initiatives for the development of Andhra Pradesh, including announcements made during the general budget and the assembly election campaign.Prime Minister Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have reiterated their commitment to the development of Andhra Pradesh, which suffered significantly due to partition. The Modi government is expected to take key decisions to drive the development of the state.
