*Hyderabad, September 13, 2024* – In a move to simplify voter registration and related services, the Central Election Commission has introduced a new facility featuring QR codes for easy access to voter applications. This innovative approach aims to make the voter registration process more user-friendly and accessible to the public.Two separate QR codes have been made available. When one code is scanned using a smartphone, the “Voter Helpline” app can be downloaded, providing access to voter registration applications. Through the app, citizens can apply for new voter registrations and make necessary updates to their existing details.The second QR code directs users to the official Election Commission website, voters.eci.gov.in. This portal offers additional voter services, including applications for changes, additions, and corrections in the electoral roll.This new feature is expected to make the voter registration process smoother, ensuring more people can access their electoral rights easily and efficiently.
