*Vijayawada, August 25* — In a remarkable display of talent and dedication, the Erramshetty sisters, Shruti and Jashwita, triumphed at the Asian Taekwondo Championship, held at Chennupati Ramakotaya Stadium. Erramshetty Shruti clinched the gold medal, while her sister Erramshetty Jashwita secured the silver in the girls’ 13 years B category, 45 kg weight division. Their achievements were celebrated with the hoisting of the Indian flag, marking a proud moment for the nation.The medals were awarded by International Grand Master Don Deltan. Taekwondo Secretary DVV Prasad and International Taekwondo India Grand Master B.V. Ramaniah extended their congratulations to the sisters for their exceptional performance on the international stage.Their father, Raja Erramshetty, a lawyer by profession, has also made a mark in Taekwondo, having previously won a gold medal at the national level.
