*September 26, 2024 – Hyderabad*In a sharp critique, BJP MP Etala Rajender took aim at Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, claiming that the poor in Hyderabad have been blinded by the decision to elect him. Speaking at a BJP membership registration event in Mallampeta, Medchal district, Rajender expressed his concern over the state of governance under Revanth Sarkar.Rajender alleged that Revanth’s government is causing ongoing hardship, stating, *”Revanth Sarkar is still on fire, leaving many poor people suffering, with their lives being shattered.”* Drawing a comparison with the past, he referenced the frustrations experienced by KCR (K. Chandrashekar Rao), the former Chief Minister of Telangana, remarking, *”KCR also faced such frustration. But when struck, he turned his head and reacted strongly.”*Rajender’s comments suggest that he views the current government as detrimental to the underprivileged, while also implying that political retaliation could follow if provoked, as it did in KCR’s case.
