Godrej Industries Chairman and Managing Director, Nadir Godrej, met with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at the Secretariat on Thursday to discuss potential investments and collaborative opportunities in the state. In a statement shared on ‘X’, Chief Minister Naidu highlighted the focus of their discussions, which covered various sectors including agriculture, aquaculture, and real estate. Key topics included the adoption of the National Mission on Edible Oils – Oil Palm and the provision of assistance for basic customs duty on shrimp feed.The meeting also explored significant investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh, particularly in Amaravati and Visakhapatnam. Notably, they discussed the prospect of establishing a pesticide manufacturing unit with a projected investment of ₹2,800 crore.
