ISRO Launches EOS-05 on GSLV-F17 from Sriharikota
Sriharikota: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) launched its advanced Earth observation spacecraft EOS-05 from Sriharikota on Friday, September 4.
The satellite was carried aboard the GSLV-F17 rocket. The mission aims to strengthen India’s Earth observation capabilities with high-quality imagery for several applications.
EOS-05 is designed to provide imagery that can support agriculture, disaster management and other national needs. Its deployment is planned for a sub-geosynchronous transfer orbit (Sub-GTO).
