Helicopter Crashes Near Paud Village, Maharashtra

A private helicopter crashed near Paud village in Maharashtra’s Pune district on August 24. The helicopter, operated by Global Vectra and en route from Mumbai to Hyderabad, was carrying four passengers.According to SP Pankaj Deshmukh from the Pune Rural Police, the captain of the helicopter sustained injuries and is currently hospitalized. The other three passengers are reported to be in stable condition. Preliminary investigations suggest that the crash may have been caused by technical failure exacerbated by weather turbulence. The Pune Rural Police have launched an investigation into the incident.Local residents witnessed the crash and promptly arrived at the scene to offer assistance. A team from the Paud police station is also involved in the response and investigation efforts.
