Indian Air Force Launches Major Flood Relief Operations in Tripura

*Tripura: August 24* – The Indian Air Force (IAF) has initiated extensive flood relief operations in Tripura, responding to severe flooding affecting the region. In coordination with the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), the IAF has been air-dropping over 4,000 food packets to stranded residents in various flood-hit areas.So far, a total of 28 tons of relief material has been airlifted to assist those affected by the floods. The operation aims to provide crucial aid to communities facing severe shortages due to the inundation.The relief efforts are being closely monitored and coordinated with local authorities, including Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and the Tripura State Government, to ensure effective distribution and support for those in need.
