**Nandyal, October 15, 2024**: In a bizarre and alarming incident, a heavily intoxicated man was rescued from a dangerous encounter with a python in **Singanapalli village, Owk mandal**, Nandyal district of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday evening.The man, under the influence of alcohol, had seated himself in a poorly lit area when a python unexpectedly crawled over him. Despite onlookers shouting warnings, the man remained unaware of the snake slithering across his body, seemingly unfazed by the danger due to his intoxicated state.Fortunately, alert locals quickly intervened. Using sticks, they managed to carefully remove the python without causing harm to either the man or the reptile. The timely action of the bystanders prevented what could have been a serious accident, given the size and strength of the python.The man was unharmed and later escorted to safety. Wildlife authorities have been informed, and locals have been advised to remain vigilant in the area, which is known for occasional sightings of wild animals.
