KA Paul Issues Strong Warning to CM Chandrababu Naidu Over AP Elections

*Amaravati, August 22* — KA Paul, President of the Prajashanti Party, has issued a stern warning to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu concerning the recent elections in the state. In a press conference held in Vijayawada, Paul alleged widespread corruption in the electoral process, claiming that Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) were tampered with.Paul asserted that he has provided evidence showing discrepancies in 1,800 polling booths, with instances where only two out of twenty family members’ votes were recorded. He expressed grave concern over the integrity of democracy, suggesting that if elections continue to be conducted using EVMs, the democratic process in India could be irreparably damaged. He highlighted that many countries that once used EVMs are now transitioning back to paper ballots. Paul called for the annulment of the recent elections in Andhra Pradesh and the scheduling of fresh elections.Additionally, Paul criticized the electoral outcome in Visakhapatnam, where he claimed voters were unfamiliar with the elected candidate, Mr. Bharat. He extended an invitation to Naidu to travel to the United States on October 2nd to discuss financial issues and job creation, urging Naidu to join him in addressing the state’s debt crisis.Paul issued a final warning to Naidu, stressing that if the Chief Minister fails to meet him within a week and does not attend the proposed summit, he would take unspecified actions.
