New Delhi, August 5: The bail petition of BRS MLC Kavitha, currently detained in connection with the Delhi liquor scam case at Tihar Jail, is set to be heard today in the Rouse Avenue Court.Kavitha, initially arrested by the ED on March 15 and subsequently by the CBI on April 11, had previously seen her bail requests rejected by the trial court in both instances. Following an unsuccessful appeal in the Delhi High Court, a fresh bail application has been filed in the trial court.Judge Kaveri Baweja presided over the hearing on July 22, which has now been scheduled for further deliberation today. The decision in this matter holds significant interest, given the complexities of the case.Meanwhile, amidst these legal proceedings, several BRS leaders including KTR, Harish Rao, and Jagadish Reddy are currently in Delhi.
