Rahul Gandhi Does Push-Ups for Arriving Late at Congress Training Camp in Madhya Pradesh

Pachmarhi (Madhya Pradesh), November 10, 2025:
A light-hearted yet impactful moment took place during a Congress training session in Pachmarhi, where Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi was asked to do 10 push-ups for arriving late. The incident turned what was expected to be a formal organizational meeting into a friendly and motivational interaction among party workers.

Rahul Gandhi had reached the session a little late due to his busy campaign schedule in Bihar. As per the rules of the training camp, those arriving late had to perform push-ups as a symbolic and playful form of discipline. Sachin Rao, who is in charge of the training programme, reminded everyone about the rule, and Rahul Gandhi immediately agreed without hesitation.

Wearing a simple white T-shirt and trousers, Rahul Gandhi went down and completed 10 push-ups on the spot. The gesture brought smiles across the hall. Several District Congress Presidents, who were also late, followed his example and did their push-ups as well. What began as a disciplinary instruction ended up creating a sense of unity and enthusiasm among participants.

The training camp, named ‘Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan’, is aimed at strengthening grassroots organisational structure of the Congress in Madhya Pradesh. Party leaders see it as a key exercise in preparation for future elections and building stronger coordination at district and block levels.

Rahul Gandhi later appreciated the quick and positive response from district leaders, saying that such participation reflects “team spirit and willingness to learn together.”

Rahul Gandhi Criticises BJP and Election Commission

During the same session, Rahul Gandhi also targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Election Commission. He alleged that large-scale irregularities occurred during recent elections in several states. He referred to allegations of voter data manipulation, claiming that his party had evidence to expose the issue.

“These methods are damaging democracy. We will present our proof step by step,” he said. The BJP and the Election Commission have denied the allegations and dismissed them as baseless.
