RS Praveen Kumar Alleges Revanth Reddy Protecting Konda Surekha’s Former OSD Sumanth
Hyderabad: Telangana political leader RS Praveen Kumar has accused Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of shielding former OSD to Minister Konda Surekha, Sumanth, from arrest.
Praveen Kumar questioned the handling of a case linked to an alleged assault on a person in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills area.
He alleged that the incident took place in Jubilee Hills on July 30, while the victim submitted a complaint on July 31. However, according to his claim, the case was registered only on August 20.
RS Praveen Kumar Questions Delay in FIR
Praveen Kumar questioned why the case was registered nearly 20 days after the complaint was submitted.
He alleged that the delay was intended to protect Sumanth from arrest. He further claimed that the case was registered only after controversial remarks made by Konda Sushmitha brought the issue into the spotlight.

Praveen Kumar asked why Sumanth had not been arrested despite the case being registered.

Praveen Kumar also raised concerns over the suspension of Jubilee Hills Circle Inspector Muttu Yadav.
He claimed that Yadav had taken charge as the Jubilee Hills CI only around three weeks before his suspension. Praveen Kumar questioned the basis for the action against the police officer.
The remarks have added another political dimension to the controversy surrounding the case.

The allegations come amid growing political exchanges over the handling of the case and the actions taken by the police.
