*Secunderabad, September 28, 2024* – The South Central Railway (SCR) has announced the cancellation of several suburban train services on the Secunderabad-Medchal route due to ongoing infrastructure maintenance work. The cancellations will affect daily commuters for an entire month, starting from October 1 to 31, 2024.CPRO Sridhar, speaking on Friday, confirmed that 8 services on the Secunderabad-Medchal route, 2 services on the Lingampally-Medchal route, and 2 more on the Kachiguda-Nizamabad route will be suspended during this period. Additionally, the train service running on the Kachiguda-Medak route will be partially canceled.The maintenance work is part of an effort to improve infrastructure and enhance the safety and efficiency of train services in the region. Passengers are advised to check alternate travel arrangements and stay updated on any further changes in the train schedule through official railway sources.This temporary disruption is expected to inconvenience many daily travelers, particularly those relying on suburban trains for commuting.
