Telangana Begins Distribution of New Ration Cards — CM Revanth Reddy Launches Statewide Initiative

Tirumalagiri, Suryapet | July 15, 2025 —
After years of waiting, thousands of families across Telangana will finally receive new ration cards. In a major relief to eligible beneficiaries, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy formally launched the statewide ration card distribution drive on Monday from Tirumalagiri.

During the launch, CM Revanth personally handed over the cards to *11 beneficiaries, officially marking the beginning of distribution. The government plans to distribute *over 3.58 lakh new ration cards across the state in the coming days.

He emphasized that from now on, ration card processing and delivery would be streamlined and transparent.

Remarks by Civil Supplies Minister

Uttam Kumar Reddy, Minister for Civil Supplies, stated:

“We are putting an end to delays and confusion in issuing ration cards. Every deserving family will get their card without hassle.”

He also said that modern tracking and digital integration would improve the delivery system.
