Telangana Government Announces Funds for Improving School Cleanliness

In a significant move to enhance the learning environment in government schools, the Telangana government has allocated funds to address cleanliness issues. This initiative aims to support schools facing challenges due to inadequate sanitation.Under the new scheme, government schools will receive financial aid based on their student enrollment:- Schools with fewer than 30 students will get ₹3,000.- Schools with 31 to 100 students will be allotted ₹6,000.- Schools with 101 to 250 students will receive ₹8,000.- Schools with 251 to 500 students will also get ₹8,000.- For schools with 501 to 750 students, ₹15,000 will be provided.- Schools with more than 750 students will be granted ₹20,000 each month for 10 months, totaling ₹2 lakh.This funding is part of the government’s broader efforts to ensure a cleaner and healthier educational environment for students, which is expected to significantly improve the overall condition of government schools across the state.
