**Khammam, September 3, 2024** — Tensions flared in Khammam today as vehicles belonging to BRS Leaders Harish Rao, Puvvada Ajay Kumar, and Sabita Indra Reddy were attacked by Congress party supporters. The incident occurred while the ministers were distributing essential commodities to flood victims in the region.According to eyewitness reports, a group of Congress councillors and supporters pelted stones at the convoy, breaking the windows of several cars, including that of Harish Rao. The clash reportedly erupted when the Congress leaders accused Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party leaders of politicizing the relief efforts amid the ongoing floods that have wreaked havoc across Telangana.Local police swiftly intervened to control the situation and prevent further escalation of violence. No injuries have been reported so far, but the attack has heightened tensions between the two political parties in the area.
