Three Arrested for Illicit Gun Manufacturing in Rajanna Sirisilla District

Rajanna Sirisilla : In a significant crackdown on illicit gun manufacturing, the district police arrested three individuals, including a 50-year-old man who was producing country-made guns.According to Superintendent of Police Akhila Mahajan, the accused were identified as Rayalingu Shankar (50), Rayalingam Chandramouli (40), Shatraveni Harish (27), and Lockheed Gangaiah (45), all residents of Gajasingavaram village in Gambhiraopet mandal.The police had previously registered a case at Gambhiraopet police station and seized various tools and materials used for gun manufacturing, including two country-made weapons, three iron barrels, four triggers, a hammer, knife, saw, leaf stone, driller, iron rods, and blower.SP Mahajan revealed that Rayalingu Shankar was arrested at his residence in Gajasingavaram village, where he was found manufacturing Natu guns and selling them to local hunters. Two gun barrels, a saw, hammer, knife, leaf stone, drilling machine, calf machine, and air blower were seized from him.Additionally, Rayalingam Chandramouli and Shatraveni Harish, who purchased guns from Shankar and used them for hunting, were also taken into custody. Two guns and four trigger parts were seized from them.The police team, led by Gambhiraopet SI Rammohan, was congratulated by Ellareddypet CI Srinivas, DSP Chandrasekhar Reddy, and District SP Akhila Mahajan for their swift action and arrest of the accused.
