Hyderabad, September 9: The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has strongly raised concerns over the protection of Waqf properties and alleged encroachments during the ongoing Telangana Assembly session.
AIMIM said that Waqf properties are a sacred trust and must be protected from illegal occupation and injustice.
“Waqf is Allah’s trust, and protecting it is our responsibility,” the party said while highlighting the issue in the Assembly.
The AIMIM leadership also made it clear that there could be no compromise on safeguarding properties meant for religious, charitable, and community welfare purposes.
The issue was raised amid the ongoing Monsoon Session of the Telangana Legislative Assembly, which has witnessed intense political exchanges and disruptions on several issues.
Demand for Protection of Waqf Properties
AIMIM leaders stressed the need for stronger action against alleged encroachments and irregularities involving Waqf properties.
The party called for accountability and effective measures to ensure that such properties remain protected.
According to the statement, Waqf assets should be safeguarded in accordance with their intended purpose.

“There will be no compromise on this trust,” the statement said.

Ahmed bin Abdullah Balala represents the Malakpet constituency in the Telangana Legislative Assembly and has previously raised issues concerning public and community matters in the House.
