Emirates Plans to Bring Its Flagship Airbus A380 to Hyderabad

Hyderabad: In a major boost for Telangana’s aviation sector, Emirates Airlines has expressed its willingness to introduce its flagship Airbus A380 services to Hyderabad, marking a significant milestone for the city’s international connectivity. The announcement comes as the airline celebrates 25 years of operations connecting Hyderabad with Dubai.The proposal was discussed during a meeting between Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Emirates Vice-President for India and Nepal, Mohammad Sarhan. During the meeting, the Chief Minister highlighted Hyderabad’s rapidly growing aviation ecosystem and invited Emirates to deploy the world’s largest passenger aircraft on the Hyderabad–Dubai route.If introduced, Hyderabad would join a select group of Indian cities to welcome regular Airbus A380 operations, significantly increasing passenger capacity while offering travelers Emirates’ world-class onboard experience, including premium cabins and enhanced comfort.The move is expected to strengthen Hyderabad’s position as a leading international aviation hub and further enhance air connectivity between Telangana, the UAE, and destinations across the globe. Discussions also included opportunities to expand aviation infrastructure and support the state’s long-term growth in the sector.
