Supreme Court Hears Plea on President’s Gallantry Award for Policeman

The Supreme Court on Monday heard a plea seeking compliance with a Madhya Pradesh High Court order directing the conferment of the President’s Gallantry Award to a police officer who shot dead two dacoits while responding to intelligence about their presence in a village

The matter was heard by a Bench comprising Justice Vikram Nath, Justice Sandeep Mehta, and Justice R. Mahadevan.
