Andhra Pradesh CM Assures Document Writers, Denies Privatization of Sub-Registrar Offices

Amaravati, July 20: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has assured document writers that there is no need for concern over their livelihoods, stating that the government will ensure their employment is not affected.

The Chief Minister dismissed allegations that the state government is privatizing Sub-Registrar Offices, calling such claims baseless and part of a deliberate misinformation campaign

He explained that the government is introducing Registration Service Centres (RSKs) to make registration services more accessible, efficient, and citizen-friendly. The new centres will function on the lines of Passport Seva Kendras, providing streamlined registration services while improving public convenience.

Naidu reiterated that the initiative is aimed at modernizing service delivery and does not involve the privatization of Sub-Registrar Offices.
