Hyderabad: The Telangana government’s TG-iPASS website has allegedly not displayed key industrial investment data for the past eight months, triggering criticism from the opposition BRS party.
According to the allegations, crucial information such as the number of new industries established in the state, investment proposals approved, and employment opportunities generated has been unavailable on the official portal since November last year.
The issue gained attention after the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) claimed that it exposed flaws in the Congress government’s industrial policy during the HILT policy debate in November 2025. The party has now alleged that the government deliberately removed the data from the TG-iPASS website to prevent the public from accessing information that could reveal administrative shortcomings.
The Telangana government has not yet issued an official response to the allegations regarding the missing data on the TG-iPASS portal.
