The Economic Offences Wing (EOW), CCS, Detective Department, Hyderabad, has busted an alleged QNET pyramid fraud and arrested five Independent Representatives from Novotel Resort & Spa, Candolim, Goa, on July 18, 2026.
According to police, the accused allegedly lured victims through Instagram, Zoom meetings, and fabricated success stories, convincing them to invest lakhs of rupees by promising high returns through a business opportunity.
During the operation, police uncovered an alleged investment fraud worth ₹7.50 lakh and seized three luxury vehicles, including a Toyota Fortuner, Kia, and MG Hector. Investigators also recovered five mobile phones containing key digital evidence such as WhatsApp chats, Instagram communications, emails, and financial records.
Police said further investigation is underway to trace other accused persons and identify additional victims linked to the alleged racket.
