Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu Launches ‘Mee Bhoomi-Blockchain’ Pilot Project

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu virtually launched the ‘Mee Bhoomi-Blockchain’ pilot project from the State Secretariat to strengthen the security and transparency of land records across the state.

The Revenue Department has developed a blockchain-based system to provide tamper-proof, secure, and permanent protection for land records. Under the project, every land parcel will receive a unique digital identity, ensuring secure transactions and preventing unauthorized alterations.

The initiative aims to eliminate double registrations, establish a single source of truth for land records, and integrate the Revenue, Survey, and Registration departments onto one unified digital platform.

The project has been jointly developed by NIC Andhra Pradesh and the NIC Bengaluru Centre of Excellence in Blockchain Technology using Hyperledger Fabric technology.

The pilot will be implemented in Aspari (Kurnool), Penumuru (Chittoor), Repalle (Bapatla), Gannavaram (Krishna), Kadiyam (East Godavari), Gummalakshmipuram (Parvathipuram Manyam), and Kothavalasa (Vizianagaram).

Revenue Minister Anagani Satya Prasad, Chief Secretary G. Sai Prasad, senior officials from the Revenue, Survey and Registration Departments, and district collectors participated in the launch.
