Husband Allegedly Kills Wife Over Family Dispute, Dumps Body Near Akiveedu

Andhra Pradesh: A shocking murder case has come to light in West Godavari district, where a woman’s husband allegedly strangled her to death and dumped her body in bushes near Akiveedu.

The woman’s body was found near Upputeru in Akiveedu on August 15. During the investigation, police identified the deceased as Uppada Devi with the help of a surgical steel plate and screw in her left leg.

According to the police investigation, Devi’s husband, Narayana Rao, allegedly strangled her to death inside an apartment in Bhimavaram following family disputes. He then reportedly transported the body and dumped it near Akiveedu.

Police have intensified the investigation and are probing the circumstances surrounding the murder.
