Nagarkurnool, Telangana: A serious allegation has emerged against a police sub-inspector in Telangana’s Nagarkurnool district.

According to the complaint, SI Srinivasa Rao allegedly assaulted a man named Mahender from Avancha during questioning. Mahender has made a more serious allegation against the officer.

Mahender further alleged that the SI urinated on him when he asked for drinking water. The allegations have triggered concern over the conduct of police personnel during questioning.

Following the incident, Mahender approached DSP Srinivas Yadav along with his family members. They submitted a complaint seeking action against the police officer.

The DSP said the allegations would be examined through a detailed inquiry. He stated that appropriate action would be taken after the investigation report is submitted.

Nagarkurnool Circle Inspector Ashok Reddy has been assigned responsibility for conducting the inquiry. Officials are expected to examine the allegations and the circumstances surrounding the incident.
