The state is grappling with widespread devastation, with Khammam district bearing the brunt of the deluge.Among the deceased were Ashwini, a 25-year-old scientist from Khammam district, and his father, Motilal, highlighting the personal toll of the natural disaster. The situation in Khammam city remains critical, with the Munneru River overflowing and causing floodwaters to rise as high as 10 feet.
