**Hyderabad**, *September 26, 2024*: In a major boost to the medical education sector in Telangana, the state government is set to issue a notification for the recruitment of 612 Assistant Professor posts in the next 10 days. This recruitment drive will be conducted by the Telangana Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board (MHSRB).The posts will be filled across various government medical colleges and hospitals in the state, following approval from the Medical, Health, and Finance Departments. The decision aims to address the shortage of faculty in medical institutions and strengthen the quality of medical education and healthcare services in the state.The Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad has also submitted proposals to the Department of Health and Finance, seeking approval for an additional 1,600 Medical Officer (Specialist) posts.
