Raj Pakala Booked by Cyberabad Police After Janwada Farmhouse Party Raid. BJP MP Raghunandan Rao Demands SIT Probe

**Hyderabad** – Cyberabad police have filed two cases following a raid on a farmhouse in Janwada, where a party hosted by Raj Pakala, also known as Rajendra Prasad Pakala, took place. Pakala is a relative of former Minister and BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao.The operation, conducted by Cyberabad’s Special Operations Team (SOT) in collaboration with excise officials, was initiated based on specific intelligence regarding potential violations involving alcohol and drug use. According to Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty, authorities discovered both Indian and foreign liquor in quantities exceeding permissible limits, resulting in a case against Pakala under the Excise Act.Additionally, during the raid, attendee Madduri Vijay tested positive for cocaine, prompting a second case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Police confirmed that no drugs were found on-site, and the allegations against Pakala are limited to the excessive possession of alcohol.In the aftermath of the raid, BJP MP Raghunandan Rao has called for the Telangana government to form a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to ensure a comprehensive inquiry into the incident. Emphasizing the need for transparency, Rao has urged the state government to publicly release the CCTV footage from the farmhouse.”The state must take responsibility for a fair and thorough investigation, especially given the involvement of high-profile individuals,” he stated, highlighting the importance of maintaining public trust in the integrity of the inquiry.
